I didn’t know there was anything wrong. I didn’t realize that acne, bloat and gas was my body telling me I’M NOT HAPPY! I never questioned it. I just accepted it. I have a different relationship with my body. My acne cleared up, the bloating went away. I never have gas anymore (and when I do, I wonder what did I eat?) I’m more mindful of what I put in my body. It’s not worth having foods that make me feel uncomfortable. It’s not about body image, it’s about feeling good from the inside out. I don’t feel deprived, I just make different choices. When I go to parties I don’t binge on carbs and cheese anymore. I don’t bloat so bad that I’m so uncomfortable the whole night and a day or two later.
